Daniele Bonera renewed his contract until 2013, and expressed all of his satisfaction. The Rossoneri's defender, always a Milan fan, launched a message to the fans: "This club still has a lot of will to win."
"I'm very happy because this contract renewal arrived in a delicate and difficult moment for me. I never played for almost five months and the club's will is that of extending the contract which for me is a great sign of trust which puses me to have more motivations and responsibilities."
Now I feel fine. This morning a cycle of training sessions ended, but during the holidays I will continue to work with a trainer ahead of the July 6 training camp. The objective is that of returning to perfect condition and not to have a tough impact with the preparation.
These are particular hours for the Milan fans and I understand. However, I can easily calm all the fans down by saying that the will to do well, which this club has, was never lost. We spoke about the future of this team and my position on the pitch. With the tactical idea of our new coach which sees more push on the wings, I will be seen as a central defender. In any case, I give all of my availability to play where I would be requested to play. Kaka? I consider him still a team-mate, he's a symbol and for certain verses the perfect companion. He's a great person, never above lines. Right now the club is making some evaluations which I don't have any say in, therefore I cannot express judgements."
At Florence it was really tough to bid farewell to our coach. With Carlo Ancelotti we had a great rapport, but in any case he will always be part of Milan's history. The coach left a great sign, and what a sign!"
